The Ausable Freshwater Center (AFC), in partnership with our sponsors, is hosting a cleanup along the roadsides of the West Branch, East Branch, and Main Stem Ausable River in the communities of Keene, Lake Placid, Wilmington, Upper Jay, and Jay. This cleanup is an opportunity to give back to our local communities by picking up and removing trash that has built up throughout the winter.
Date: Saturday, April 19, 2024.
Location: Meet at the Keene Community Center Pavilion off of Church Street.
Time: Check in begins at 9:30am, cleanup beings at 10:00am and ends at 1:00pm.
Registration: Save the date and stay tuned for details!
Supplies: Gloves, trash bags, and additional materials will be available as needed.
Perks: All participants will be entered to win a raffle prize provided by NRS!
Additional Information: Volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. More details about the event will be provided via email upon registration.
